"L'auberge is a wonderful hotel, but this stay could have been better. The room was clean and nice, but not truly accessible for handicap. My husband is in a wheelchair and could not get into the shower at all. We notified staff before our stay that he was in a wheelchair. If a room was not available, I understand. The worst problem was that our room was the furthest room away from the elevator, right next to the stairs exit, and it was incredibly hard to push his wheelchair on the carpet floors for that distance every time we wanted to leave the room. I will continue to stay at L'auberge because it is one of my favorite hotels and the Ember restaurant is amazing, but I hope our room placement will be better on our next stay."

"The hotel overall,horrible! Bad area,a lot of people hanging around outside,listening to loud music and smoking. When we walked in the room it stunk so bad,I don’t know if it was just old or mildew smell. Couch was stained. Bedding was white so all the stains were visible. Looked like they don’t even wash them. Towels had hair all over them,I don’t think they wash those either. And to top it off,I killed 2 roaches crawling on one of the tables by the bed. Gross! I DONOT recommend staying here!! No parking available at all. "

"Four stars overall. The room was much more than we expected ‘space’ wise. More than I’ve had in a Hilton or lots of other hotels. Granted it was almost $200 but unfortunately nowadays (I still think) that’s ‘high’ but not 5⭐️ pricing. It lacked some simple things: an exhaust fan in the bathroom & enough hanging space for 2 .. for starters. The room seemed clean, parking was ample & breakfast was ‘ok’ - filled us up but don’t expect more. The bed was comfortable & a/c worked to our liking. Yes, I would stay again because of the convenience of the location for what we wanted to do. But if another opened, I’d definitely give them a try. "
