"Rooms seem to have recently been renovated which was nice. The hallways smelt like weed and the clientele hanging around the outside of the hotel etc were less than desirable. Really felt unsafe. Dead bolt to door didn’t lock so this also contributed to the unsafe feeling."

"The staff was great, but when we arrived the AC in our unit wasn’t working. It took a while before it was fixed. In addition, the headboard of the bed were gross and all scratched up!"

"The room was very clean and comfortable, we had a king bed with a pull out sofa and we had plenty of room. Plus the bathroom and shower were very nice. The signage coming into the hotel is incredibly confusing, as the signs on the side of the building say Four Points by Sheraton, the decals on the front door say Surface Inn, and there were multiple signs at the front desk saying that we had to check in at the Radisson front desk next door. This wasn’t true, as we had to check in at the Surface front desk, since they couldn’t do the room keys at the other front desk. There also wasn’t bedding for the pull out bed in the room, and the multiple times we went to the front desk to ask for bedding there was no one there. Altogether a comfortable, affordable stay, but there is work to be done to actually make it the Surface Boutique Hotel."

"Front desk wouldn’t let us check in - I stayed outside with our baby and gave my husband my ID since I’d booked the room. I had to stop feeding my child to go in because….idk they thought he’d stolen a strangers ID and found out I had booked a hotel that night and he was trying to steal that as well? It was major overkill. As in most Hamptons, the pillows are tiny and terrible, but the indoor pool at this location is amazing and its always very clean. Overall positive more than the minor gripes. We always come back for the pool and location."
