"This is a hidden gem, located in south-central VA, is not affiliated with a hotel chain or high end amenity program. As such, and as a single owner proprietorship, Berry Hill Resort still offers an extensive spa capabilities! But because of the “off the beaten path location”, has been forced to hire mostly local staff who were friendly but were probably not professionally trained. The menu & meals were excellent though & for the price of the room, it was an overall excellent experience!"

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and cleanliness that set the tone for our entire visit. What truly stood out during our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Every team member we encountered greeted us with a genuine smile and was eager to assist with any questions or requests we had."

"Breakfast was not good. In fact it wasn’t even a breakfast. All u had was cold cereal but no regular size bowls. Your orange juice was terrible. If you put in your things and you say breakfast I expect eggs, meat, sausage gravy, and maybe fried potatoes. Everything else was GREAT. .. But if I see on the menu breakfast I expect breakfast. I won’t be back because I expected breakfast. Not just waffles and cold cereal."

"If you are in the Danville, VA area, I highly recommend the Bee hotel. Very old but completely updated & renovated hotel. Our suite was clean as could be, very spacious and beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable. Near many excellent restaurants. Great place to stay."

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Great staff, amazing rooms, and amazing details. Plus they allow dogs! Yes, it costs more than other hotels, but the room was not downgraded because we brought our pet. Still had carpet, not on the first floor. Restaurant in hotel is good and we were able to order room service for dinner and breakfast. A wonderful stay! Anytime we are travelling on I-85 in NC we will stop at the Inn at Elon!!!"
