"One or two light bulbs worked. A lamp shade looked like it had caught fire once. The water was hot, so awesome shower. But there's was no happy medium. Hot. Or cold. "

"If you have kids & plan on staying there, it’s good. Lots of things to do inside for cheap. If you’re looking for a nice hotel in San Angelo for a couples’ weekend getaway, this is NOT it. TV was in/out of service both nights we were there. It’s very outdated, yet, they have top dollar pricing… 15-20, 30-gallon trash bags were left around a tree by staff, & was there the entire weekend. Teens-young adults were walking around cars after dark, so it was hard to fall asleep thinking my car would get broken into. Overall, I’d give it a 2 of out 5. Only thing that was good about it was the restaurant. Pizza wasn’t bad, & my waitress/bartender was good! My wife wasn’t too impressed by the stay. For the same $300 for 2 night stay, I can get a nicer room in DFW."

"We really only used it as a place to sleep. The shower was awesome, great hot water pressure. The pool is well maintained (we used it last time went), and from view I got from upstairs it looked clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Room has some wear but no weird smells. Pillows were kinda small and could have used a few more. No issues."

"Super sweet staff! However, not having a toilet in the room was a bit strange lol but to be expected with a hotel built in 1923, other than that it was a great stay. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to town."

"Decent place for the price good amenities hotel building needs some TLC but worth the value. Parking, convenience, beds were comfortable. Bar on site, pool area was ok. "
