"We travel through the area often and always stay here. It’s almost a home away from home. And sometimes we get to play with the owners dog Scout. We love the history behind this place. It’s like you’re in the old west. But no bandits."

"Everything was great. The room was clean, food delicious and the buffet attendant was helpful and polite. She kept plenty of hot food available. The staff at the front desk were so friendly. The hotel was easy to find right off the interstate. We will be coming back"

"I woke up the inn keeper after midnight needing a place to sleep on a cross country trip and she was so kind. Went in for breakfast the next morning (which had plenty of options) and she asked if I slept well and if I got the rest I needed for the next leg of my trip. My room wasn’t “perfect” but it was clean and comfortable. As a single woman traveling, I felt safe and secure enough to get a good nights rest. It’s not a “5 star” sort of place but I got 5 star treatment."

"The only nice thing about this property is the pool. Otherwise it looked like it should be a condemned building. I would never stay here again and if you have children, I would highly recommend not staying here. It didn’t feel safe and it was extremely dirty."

"Room was big and clean. Right next to the walking path and river, so great for walking and fishing. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the patio but it seemed nice outdoor seating. Had a restaurant but my visit was short. I did see advertised that the rooms have sound dampening, one of the reasons I booked it. However my room had two connecting doors to other rooms and a lot of sound bled into my room. If you want quiet make sure to ask for not one of those rooms."

"Had 2 room with an adjoining door - it was difficult to open, the 2nd room was out of conditioner in the shower; first room had mold behind the bathroom door by the floor. Beds were comfy. Room was quiet"

"Easy access to the interstate, restaurant on the premise, coffee stand all the things you need when on the go. The hotel was basic but very clean. The complimentary breakfast was better than most. Fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, green chili, cereal . I would recommend this hotel. One thing to note , they do not have an elevator but there were plenty of ground floor rooms available. It was a pleasant stay."
