Berlin Grande Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Every part of the hotel was clean and decorated nicely. We especially enjoyed sitting outside with a fire pit table. Extremely conveniently located in the middle of downtown Berlin. Restaurants and shopping are walkable. Pretty typical breakfast included."

"very spacious room with comfortable bed. I would not have liked the pillows, they were pretty dense. Fairly clean. I did wipe down the side tables.. they had something on them. rainfall shower was nice, however the switch for the shower head and the handheld is on top of the rainfall head.. and it was not switched to the rainfall head when i took a shower. This requires you to be pretty tall to reach. I had to bring over a stool (not especially sturdy) and climb up to switch it over (probably not safe). Pool is open, hot tub is not. Breakfast was fair, even the coffee was not tasty. Liked the minimal noise from other guests and doors that don’t slam (although i could hear my neighbors tv like it was in my room)."
