Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis Chesterfield
10/10 Excellent
"Different staff this time (except the bartender) —- all of them were just as friendly and helpful as the last time we stayed at this Drury. Spoke to the bartender a little more this time — he was wonderful last time and fantastic this time. He is quick to make everyone’s drinks during the happy hour time — but still takes time to talk to each of the guests (without it affecting his work at all). The front desk people were immediately attentive. The next morning — we were told “good morning” by pretty much everyone — it looked like a front desk person was just arriving to work — and she stopped, smiled, and said hello to us. Even the housekeeping lady (woman who worked 2nd floor on 06/08/2026) was super friendly — and I think I’ve never been told good morning by housekeeping at other hotels. The food was great and we love all of the options to meet anyone’s preferences. The pool was clean. We didn’t use the hot tub - but it looked clean and relaxing. We didn’t use the gym — but we saw one guest used it for a couple of hours so it must be a good one (we realized we need to start working out more because of this guest lol). Overall — my family love staying at Drury when we can and this one certainly lives up to the Drury name!!"

"At 6 am a storm came through and flooded our room on the second floor. We woke up with an inch of water on the ground and all our luggage and things wet. We had water damage and no one cared. We called the office immediately but they never came or helped. I asked for a refund because we had damaged items like books and computers but that was ignored as well."

"The shuttle stops early and my flight came in at 11:45pm, no shuttle available. I had to take an UBER. The room clean? No, mold under the sink basin, my mom had to fix the toilet so it would flush, the light by the bed was broken, the fridge made a lot of noise. When checking out, no one was available for at least 10 minutes. Parking was okay, when picked up."

"Wildwood Hotel was a very clean Hotel, and the staff was nice. The location was great there was a grocery store very close by a movie theater a pharmacy a gas station everything you needed was close by."

"Staff was helpful, even when I was late in getting there. Room was cool upon entry (as I like it). Items had some wear, but everything was in place and clean. Good first impression."

"A exceptionally wonderful Drury Inn that’s been recently updated and is staffed by good people who seemed to take pride in providing a relaxing stay. Pool is indoor/outdoor with a hottub. Airy feel in lobby and elevator area and clean throughout. Good breakfast and happy hour/manager’s special."

"Staff were very helpful building was older lots of skuffed beat up walls- the flooring in kitchen were gaps in the vinyl flooring - had a king bed was spacious- liked that it had a ceiling fan- side door was not locked or cleaned"

"I booked my wife into a handicapped room because she cannot use the toilet or bath without having a handicapped accessible bathroom. When she went to go to the bathroom, the toilet was not flushing toilet paper, or any bodily waste. When we asked the front desk for assistance the person said she would get someone to fix it. We waited 3 hours and no one ever came. When we called the front desk again, the person told us there was no maintenance person available untill the next day. She flippantly and casually said she can just use the toilet in the lobby. MY WIFE IS HANDICAPPED AND CAN'T USE A REGULAR TOILET! My wife had to pee/pooop in her pad all night, having to change pads every time she went to the bathroom. The next morning, the maintenance man didn't show up until 10:00 AM (1 hour before we checked out). No one at this horrible hotel even apologized for this disaster. IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! ."
