"Very cute property! Close to the downtown area and has a cool access to the river behind it. Arrived and there was a bonfire going with live music as well. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We had called a few days before to let the hotel know we would be arriving late for check in (early the next morning due to flight changes) and when we arrived there was no note left about this and the front desk worker was very confused. We had also paid for a lake view room and our room was facing the back parking lot."

"This hotel was perfect! Location was great. Right across the street from the beach or toboggan run depending on what time of year you go. Easy walking distance to so many restaurants. You can walk around the lake or up Cobble Hill. There is plenty of parking available. We've stayed at several different hotels in Lake Placid over the years and parking at some are horrible not enough spots. Or they are just too far out of town to walk to everything. So you have to drive then find a spot to park. Not here! There's plenty of spots available. Also being at the edge of town vs being right downtown its easier to get in and out. Inside the hotel is stunning with great views of the lake right across the street. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was very nice and helpful from the front desk to the lady taking care of breakfast to the building care. Even my teenage son commented on how nice the room cleaning guy was for our floor. That's a big deal! There is a laundry room. We always try to not over pack but enjoy hiking so it's nice to do laundry as needed. This is a great stay. Zero regrets. We had a great vacation. Planning to stay here again next time we come out."

"The room was large and clean. Shower was updated and had good water pressure. I slept very well. The view of Mirror Lake from the hotel was nice. My only negative point is that there is no coffee machine/service in the room. There is coffee on the main floor, but I'm the kind of person who like a cup of coffee first thing in the morning in room. Other than that, this was a pleasant hotel."
