I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I spent in Florence, and the extremely friendly and attentive service I received at the Stricklin contributed significantly to that experience.From the check in and check out to the thoughtful recommendations provided by the staff every step of the way made me feel like a welcomed family member.
The character of this historic building really shines through and is a nice change of pace compared to the same chain hotels. The room was spotlessly clean and in very good condition. I really appreciated the shower that felt like a luxury spa experience. While the bed was a little soft for my personal taste I still slept like a log.
I recommend the restaurants attached to the hotel very highly. The BBB for breakfast was terrific value for money and served outstanding food. The bar on the lowest level, Below 315, felt like I was spending time with family and long time friends.
I'm definitely going to put the Stricklin, and Florence on my list to return to and spend some more time!"
