"Het hotel is ruim opgezet, het personeel vriendelijk. Ontvangst met gemberthee. Het hotel was schoon, de kamers ruim. sAvonds werd de haard in onze kamer aangestoken. Voor onze safari naar de Golden Monkeys was het een heel goede locatie, ook voor de Gorilla safari in Rwanda is het een goede plek. Het eten was uitgebreid , maar de kwaliteit viel een beetje tegen. "

"The staff at My Hill Eco Lodge made a 1-week work trip a delight. The rooms are large and simply but perfectly outfitted. The restaurant servers could not have been sweeter or more helpful. (Portions are big! Request Rwandan food if you're curious, especially the local amaranth greens.) The only note: It is indeed on a hill, so not for the faint of heart — or heavy packers."

The food prepared by the guest house cook was excellent! Our only concern was the lack of hot water in the shower, but that may have been due to the fact that we didn't know to plug in the water heater."
