"We used to stay in this hotel about once a year when we visit Evansville, but it changed names and we weren't sure if it was still a good place to stay. We spend two nights there this past week and had a very good experience. Of the 3 days we were there, only 1 of the front desk staff was helpful, but the place was clean, breakfast was well-maintained and offered a nice variety, our room was nice and freshly painted, and things seemed in order. The one problem we experienced was a water leak in the elevator but it was during a 3-day stretch of monsoon-type rain that caused flash flood warnings like I've never seen in Evansville, so I think the leak was a result of the extreme weather and couldn't be helped. Overall it was a good experience."
