"This old, pioneer town has a gem in this quiet, restored hotel. They have updated most the rooms, beds were comfy and shared spaces a delightful bonus! We brought our dinner given the limited dining options (the hotel restaurant was closed bc of a holiday weekend) so enjoyed the second floor sitting area. The breakfast was laid out nicely, with several options. I would highly recommend this stop if you find yourself in this quiet corner of Oregon. You just rarely get to experience spaces like this anymore. "

"I don’t see how anyone could possibly say anything negative about this wonderful motel. Everything was absolutely clean and our room appeared to have everything newly remodeled. We actually had two separate rooms with the door that closes for two people to have total privacy. Our space was incredibly spacious and felt a great deal more like an apartment than a hotel room. There was a full kitchen with everything that is needed for basic cooking: wonderful place especially considering that there are few other options. The breakfast was hot with absolutely amazing freshly made hash, brown potatoes with vegetables and eggs. Absolutely delicious danishes, fresh juice, and hot biscuits and gravy!! "

"Caveat: this is a traveller's rest-type motel. Zero frills, just a comfortable secure room with a comfortable bed and working shower. No monogrammed 1000 thread count sheets, no turn down service, just evidence of pride of ownership and recent renovation. I will absolutely stay here again. The "town" is a truck stop, but this is a great place to catch up on sleep. "

"Great view of the water and comfortable room and patio with views and deck chairs to relax. Nice restaurant at the lodge and other restaurants nearby. Good walking trails by the water around the property. "
