"Paid $180 for a room for 3 adults, when I pulled out the couch bed, there were black human and dog hairs all over it so I asked for another room, they said all they had was one but it would be $18 dollars extra, I said okay, had no choice. The second room, same dog and human hair on pull out couch bed but this one also had trash behind the bed on the floor. They apologized but said they only had two queens left which would have been too small so I asked if they just changed the covers we'd stay in that room anyway. She did and said her boss said to take anything we wanted from the food/beverage closet by the check in desk as a comp. The next morning we attempted to do that and the new desk manager said sure, we'll just put it on your room, I explained what happened and he said no one had informed him about that, but said go ahead, it felt like we were stealing. Will not use La Quinta again."
