"We just had a short overnight stay, but the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming when we got there in the evening, and every encounter throughout. We used the pool, and the water was nice and warm, and since it was a little later, not too busy.
The property itself was updated, beds comfortable... I didn't see a coffee maker in the individual rooms, but there was coffee in the lobby. The rooms were nice, just darker than what I am used to - I think maybe the desk lamp was going out because it was really dim. We did not open the blinds since we were on the first floor.
The breakfast was pretty good - there was a wide range of foods available, and even my youngest who is the world's pickiest eater, found enough to eat. More a regular hotel breakfast than continental.
What really made our stay was the friendly staff; I was bringing food back to our room and one of the staff workers (Anngel) noticed I had my hands full and asked if I wanted a tray and went and got me one- I had completely missed them. Fast forward to about 2 hrs later - I needed to look in the trash can for my daughter's medicine that I had accidentally thrown away. Anngel said no problem, went and got gloves and refused to let me search the can for it; I had to beg her to let me help her. Thankfully Anngel found it; my daughter could have had a seizure without it. I don't think I have ever in my life had someone so willing to dig through trash for someone who accidentally threw something away."
