"This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony. "We stayed here for a few nights at the end of March. It is a small place right on the beach with more of a B&B style feel. Our room was maybe a 30 second walk to the beach. The room itself was very basic; small fridge, bed with mosquito net, no tv, and basic bathroom amenities. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive.
