Humboldt County Holiday Rentals

"Hotel is being renovated. Eventually adding a restaurant. All the rooms in our building are new. No construction noise when we stayed. It is well located with food options a short walk or drive nearby. The only negative I could think of is the exit/ entrance. It is hard to see to exit the hotel, hopefully they add an exit on the other side which would make it so much easier ( they have it fenced off at the moment). Old town is a short drive away."

"If you're tired of the La Quintas, Best Westerns, Red Roof etc., and would prefer character and history, stay at the Arcata Hotel. Charming!!"

"Clean, renovated room. Good breakfast. Very nice overnight stay. Front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Only issue was the old electrical outlets in the room that were loose and would not grip/hold the plug when you plug something in (like phone charger.) Phone charger would simply just fall back out of the outlet after you plug it in. These outlets should be addressed as soon as practicable. Other than that, very enjoyable stay. "

"The hotel was very walkable to downtown, but with all the homeless around, I don't think I felt very safe. Not the hotel's fault. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The hotel was really cool looking, being historic and all, but it really smelled old. Not terrible, just like you old grandmother's basement. The breakfast didn't have a lot of options. But there are a lot of restaurants nearby. There is an outdoor pool, but it was too cold for that. I would probably stay here again. If we were in town."
