"Wir haben eine Nacht in der Unterkunft verbracht, um am nächsten Tag von dort in den KTP zu fahren. Die Grenze zu Südafrika ist nur 15 km entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Als Pärchen bekamen wir ein großzügiges Familienzimmer, welches sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet war. Das vorab gebuchte Dinner war das beste, was wir während unserer 16-tägigen Reise gegessen haben. "This is two large apartments (one on the top level, one on the bottom) - we stayed in the top floor. The apartment is very spacious - large kitchen, dining room, living room, terrace - and two bedrooms, each with several beds in case you have a large group (the bunk beds would be great for kids). The view of the harbor is nice, and the kitchen helps one self-cater. "We stayed one night here. The property is very isolated as many places are in Namibia. The rooms are individual bungalows. Ours was very clean and well maintained. It had air conditioning which we did not really need - it did sound quite noisy. We ate in the hotel for breakfast and evening meal - both were excellent. We were given a map for a walk in the local area. We also used the pool - the area around that was nicely set up. "

"We stayed here for one night. We had a lovely time there. The setting is an old bakery and this makes for a very interesting and unusual hotel where they have incorporated aspects of the old bakery. Having said that the amenities were excellent with very comfortable, clean and lovely rooms in individual bungalows. Breakfast and the evening meal were also excellent. Like many lodges in Namibia it is very isolated although it was easy to find. We also used the swimming pool which was great. "

Very enjoyable, and vegan options available!

"The structure is perfect, and people were lovely. Plenty of hiking trails available and some to do with mountain bike as well (available to rent at reception). The facilities were very good, very nice food at the restaurant with plenty of vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise! Only thing, the lack of electricity at the camping site (which is clearly stated, so we knew about it in advance). Otherwise I would have given 5 stars to everything!"

"A stunning location. Amazing view from a rustic chalet. Highly recommended. Bring your own food if you can. You can cook and even make a bbq at the chalet. We were at The Wall. We loved the yard at with Adirondack chairs at the back of the rock; well protected from the wind by rocks with a great view on the Mount. We highly appreciated the setup of the dining table in the chalet. Bathroom is a bit basic. Remember it’s rustic rather than luxurious."

Beautiful

"A gracious lodge in a spectacular setting. We were welcomed warmly and helped to take our cases to our lodge. The lodge was smallish and basic but in a lovely spot surrounded by wildlife. Food was excellent, and we loved afternoon snacks on the terrace. The pool was beautifully sited and quiet. Darius led a very enjoyable and informative sundowner walk. Only a tiny criticism - the service in the restaurant was sometimes very slow. Overall our stay was a delight."
