"I messaged the property to inform them that I was going to arrive very late on Christmas Eve . That is when I got a shock of my life when they told me that they did not have any booking for me. I had booked and paid for a room for 2 nights many months ago ! What a shame !!!!! You spoiled my Christmas!"

"Le Rustique is a charming haven just far enough from the bustling town of Nanyuki, while still very close. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the cottages are roomy, comfortable and quaint. Would definitely recommend!!"

"I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. There needs to be a sign reminding the guests to treat the very fine staff with the respect they deserve or be asked to leave. "
