"Please let me preface by saying my comments about weight are NOT meant to shame the person on question. We arrived at about 8 pm & entered the lobby for check in. Gave my name and ID. The employee had difficulty reaching his computer mouse due to size. In the process, mouse fell on the floor. The employee asked me to enter the locked area behind the desk. To assist him. It was after dark, so it was locked with a key pad. I did not want to cause him trouble, so I agreed. He verbally gave me the code, I entered the office, returned it from the floor, & placed it in his hand. I exited the staff area & locked the door behind me. We checked in as normal, but I did notify him that we were "sleeping in" and would not be checking out until 10:50 am. We planned to pass the time rearing at the going straight to the uni once registertion was open. Night was uneventful, other patrons were quiet & respectful. At 8:00 am, housekeeping banged on the door & entered without waiting for an answer. I told them we would not leave until 10:50 am. They returned. 3 times over the course of 2 hours. Each time I said I would be leaving town minutes before the official check out time. We verified the check out time was 11. However, we vacated the room at 10:05 am, after the fourth housekeeping employee banged on the door and entered without waiting. My concerns: •Security. Allowing guests behind the desk by giving out code is dangerous •Stafe forcing/entering rooms before check out without consent"

"We started in one room that was inside facing the pool, but the AC was not working. We moved to the outside facing the side street where we were on our last stay and it was much better. The fridge and microwave in this room were much nicer than on our previous stay. The towel bar in the sink area was broken and just laying on the counter. We rescued a dog while in town and adding him to the stay was very easy and the price was reasonable. The house keeping staff was very nice and helpful with us and just swapping out towels and taking trash once we had the dog with us. Breakfast again was lacking, I think we ended up going to restaurants in town instead. We will still stay here again next summer as it is very conveniently located and a nice hotel with comfortable beds. The front office girl was on her game this stay! She is just the nicest person."
