"Being so close to the wildlife centre, I saw more animals sitting on my porch than I did in the reserve itself. The food at the restaurant was delicious and staff were attentive. The owner had the courtesy of introducing himself and seeing if everything was fine. Rooms were spacious and the grounds were clean. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend. "

"I found Game Haven Lodge to be a very peaceful place. Even when the weather is hot, there is a lovely breeze about the the place. The location was convenient for me to explore Blantyre, Bvumbwe, Thyolo, Mulanje & Likhubula. Loved the game Drive. Weekends can be busy with locals which means you may have to wait longer for meals. "

"The Sunbird Lilongwe is a beautiful hotel. It has the relaxed elegance of an earlier era, with low-slung building and open corridors with view of the extensive, beautifully-maintained gardens. The rooms have been recently renovated so they are very comfortable, and there is now a gym (I tried the elliptical, which worked very well) as well as a small pool. The breakfasts are ample, with omelettes made to order, and the service is excellent. I stayed twice, once on each end of my trip to Lilongwe, and I enjoyed both visits. This is Old Town, so outside the hotel the roads are rough and sidewalks are dirt paths, but if you venture a block down to the big shopping center, the Bombay Palace also has excellent Indian food."
