"I had a wonderful stay at Casa Madrona. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Sausalito with beautiful views of the Bay and just steps from shops, restaurants, and the ferry. The hotel has a perfect mix of historic charm and modern comfort. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. The staff really stood out. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and attentive, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. Poggio, the on-site restaurant, was excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the spa was a peaceful retreat. Yes, it’s a bit of a splurge, but for the level of service, the amenities, and the overall experience, it was well worth it. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Casa Madrona to anyone visiting Sausalito."

"This is a very clean and almost new motel with easy access to the 101 and across a couple of streets from a large mall. I liked the fact there were no carpets in the room that could become stained. An adjacent Peet's Coffee was very handy. Our only negative observations are 1) the bathroom door, which rolls across, did not close properly and so there was no privacy in the bathroom. This problem was compounded by the absence of a fan in the bathroom; 2) there is absolutely nowhere to hang clothes on a clothes hanger."
