"The kitschy charm of the old hotel was a nice change from cookie-cutter roadside lodging. The hotel staff did not help us with our bags, go into detail about the history of the hotel but the history is well documented all over the walls. The restaurant/bar was fun, even though the bartenders/servers were not in any rush, the food was good and there’s a hard 4-drink maximum. The one treadmill they had was Out of Order, and there was armed security on premises. Overall, I’m glad I saw all the history and was a fun change from typical lodging."
