"This place was an incredible and completely unexpected find! The out of the way location and beautiful surroundings were indeed a breath of fresh air! "This is an absolutely beautiful “Boutique” Hotel overlooking the main canal going through Middelburg. The train station is on the other side of the canal offering easy access to hotel and bike rentals. The rooms and entire hotel were spotless with modern spacious rooms. "The location of the hotel was super good. Onsite parking was sufficient, although a lit bit thight. It cost 10 euro's, but you can come/leave whenever you want. Staff was very friendly and helpful/ The room wasn't big but we got a corner room with lots of light. The hotel temperature was a little bit too warm for us. But maybe because of the many elderly guests. We had to open a small window to make it cooler. We did experience some noise during the night. Not sure if this was from other hotel...

Love the decor of the hotel and rooms, the understated luxury is palpable, Bar is excellent The only objection is that we were given a room without windows (yes, no windows!). "Good hotel with friendly staff. Pros: rooms are new, interesting design, big parking in front of the hotel. Cons: restaurant closed on Sundays and Mondays, you can’t get any food from hotel on this days. No room service available. Ventilation grids (a least in my room) have a lot of dust accumulated on it. My opinion - if you declare your property as “4 stars hotel with restaurant”, such service must be available 7 days a week and not only 5. "

"The General Manager Laurence was a true gentleman. The hotel is situated in a great location, and the perfect setting to explore the city. As a family we did make use of the bar area, and breakfast facilities which were perfect. The kids managed to run around and tire themselves in the lobby... we may have not witnessed the night life of Ghent, but if you're a family looking for a comfortable stay, this is your hotel."
