Hotels with smoking rooms in New Jersey

"My room was not ready after I called two weeks and it been staying that I'll be arriving at a certain time my friend got a room as well and her room was trashed after they said that that her room was ready someone was already occupying it and trashed the whole entire room there was trash everywhere here everywhere and other personal items we try to get a discount for that room and they denied us and just an housekeeping Housekeeping did not arrive until 2 and 1/2 hours later"

"DO NOT STAY AT BALLY’S!!! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! The place needs a COMPLETE overall. The first room assigned was subpar, dingy, dirty. We cleaned the suite but it still was not habitable. There is very poor lighting, several were not in good repair or not working order not to mention the excessively worn furnishings. We were then assigned a second room, supposedly an “upgrade”, a “suite”! This room was deployable. We cleaned every room in the “suite”and the dirt obtained off the furnishings, bedroom, bathroom, bar area, etc was beyond subpar. At this point our frustration reached the max which lead to return to the service desk to check out of BALLY’S. We provided them with the mounds of dirty cloths from cleaning the “suite and expressed our disappointment !!! "

"Best parts of the Claridge: The old world charm and the fantastic shower. Seriously, it's not big but it's one of he best showers I've had in a hotel in ages. The bed was comfortable and most of the staff were great. What ruined the experience: Erica at reception was an absolute jerk in every interaction. The system was down so she wanted a copy of credit cards and ID and refused to offer any reassurance those copies would not be kept forever. It's a small reassurance given that in Europe, you aren't allowed to do that at all (make copies of credit cards). She was also unbelievably rude."

"The room was big and well appointed. There were many restaurants to choose from and the pool and gym were excellent. Prices were high for food and some of the staff were a bit grumpy and rude, but the hotel was terrific and we would definitely return."

"Will not stay here again. I find it ridiculous they will not serve drinks while gambling unless you have one of their loyalty cards to prove how much money you spend. We had a hotel room, and spent the majority of our time on the slots. We are from out of state and this policy is alienating people who are not from the area. There were no perks to make us want to stay there again."

"Left all decaf coffee pods and the coffee machine was not working properly. When I called and asked to send someone to fix it, noone came. They have a water filter in the gym which only gives cold water. And they charge 1$ for providing drinking hot water. Which I am ok with paying but it's the principle of just finding anything to squeeze money out of you.. The staff are also not really interested in helping you."

"Our room was disgusting- we had blood stains on our window curtain as well as our shower curtain and some unknown stain all over the couch. The a/c had a metal rattle sound all night The sink was clogged the hotel itself is nice but the dirtiness of our room made it an unpleasant stay "
