"This is the second time we have stayed here, in two months. Once again, we cannot praise the whole experience any higher than absolutely excellent. The location for all amenities, the staff for their help in making our stay wonderful. The hotel itself, including the rooms, are to the highest standard and cleanliness. "Clean,friendly,lovely location and nice staff. For a three star it’s definitely only just missing out on being a four star as was hard to fault and we had a great two nights there. Food was very good,staff were friendly and attentive,rooms clean and warm with nice fittings and drinks at the bar reasonably priced. Will be staying again as loved our visit and did some great walking in the local area."

"It's not clear that the kitchen is shared, in the advertising. A kettle in the room would be a basic improvement, instead of a journey downstairs. Bathrooms need an upgrade. Soap dispensers are broken, for example. However, staff were helpful and it was surprisingly quiet, despite the house being on the ring road. The location was OK for a 15 min walk to food ETC"

"Our guests arrived after a 5 hour journey and they called the two contact numbers, one mobile was disconnected and the other rang out, the two email addresses also did not get any answers. The actual address is a new housing estate still closed off as a building site so we believe this property is a scam. If you look at the pictures there is no outside photos of the building and the two bathroom photos show different decoration and the toilet and sink are in different positions. Now we need to...

"The property was fantastic the only thing it missed was a fan or air conditioning but then again we live in England where its usually cold and wet so I shouldn't expect there to be any of those things. The only other issue was with sykes cottages themselves, the listing says pay at the property but sykes cottages took the money instantly and then was extremely unhelpful as were hotels.com in my opinion I would bypass both of these and book direct with dovestone holiday park"

"You know i can tell you about the stay but in fact THERE WAS NO STAY. the property is a SCAM. I knocked at the door multiple times and nobody answered, i was left no instructions to even access the property either. So when i applied for a refund i was refused and left no answer. The owner wouldn’t even pick up the phone. It’s an absolute disgrace that i’ve lost the money aswell as a university student it’s just sad. Never ever visit this place as it’s actually shocking "
