"Although the hotel offered decent value, it was not very clean, and the toilet paper had not been replaced after the previous guest’s use, which was quite unpleasant. The room itself was acceptable, with the main issue being that I found a small insect on the bedsheet of one of the two beds immediately after I entered the room. Finally, I had a negative experience with the hotel because I checked out only two hours after checking in, despite having booked the room for a couple of days. Although the hotel states that it may provide a partial refund for cancellations after check-in, I was charged for the entire stay, which I found quite unfair and disrespectful."

"The hotel and our room were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. What we did not like is that I called on 3 different occasions and spoke with 3 different women at the front desk and emphasized how important it was that we have a refrigerator. The first woman told me she had written down our request. The second woman told me it was entered in our information, and the third woman told me the same and assured me we would have a refrigerator and a microwave upon arrival. We arrived and had neither. We called the front desk and they told us one would be brought up promptly. We had food that needed to be refrigerated and called the desk again 25 min. later. Ten minutes after that a very friendly and helpful maintenance worker brought them both up and connected them. Although this was inconvenient, the staff was always courteous and helpful. It was Syracuse University Graduation Weekend so they were particularly busy which might be why the problem occurred. Mentioning this so someone else might be spared this inconvenience in the future. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay."

"I have only stayed at several Super 8’s before—I usually opt for a “higher rated” chain, but Good Lord, the inflated prices this year! I took a chance on this, as it was conveniently located, the price was great, and the reviews were decent. I’m very glad I did. It’s basic, from amenities to breakfast, but had everything I needed AND neat and clean as a pin. Workers were in evidence everywhere I looked, including a window washer! My own mother would not be able to find fault. PSA: Don’t forget to tip your housekeeper well—they are a good part of keeping our experiences positive!) Also, easiest on/off the highway possible."
