"Despite MANY bad Yelp reviews about staff service and cleanliness, one very horrifying photo of a very dirty mattress, and also the noise when getting a room facing the freeway:
All turned out pretty good.
I got a room on the other side of the hotel NOT facing the freeway.
The room WAS CLEAN, the BED WAS CLEAN, the BATHROOM WAS CLEAN - the carpet might have been stained and that's it. I was surprised about the HOT COMPLIMENTARY breakfast (scrambled eggs, etc) - which really came in handy for me.
The location is not glamorous (near a trucking container looking area) and getting in and out onto Franklin was tricky if there was traffic.
But the stay WAS VERY SATISFACTORY and it's possible I would consider staying there again
