"Solid breakfast, good location, clean and quiet room."

"Good spa hotel, and decent facilities and upkeep of property. Spa has jacuzzis, steam, sauna and routine stuff but restricted open timings, with other slots being chargeable. Continental breakfast was also decent. This hotel is right opposite the main Tartu bus station so very accessible. Also, 2 big malls and other restaurants are also stone throws. River promenade walk is just a 5 min walk. Given the city itself is small, the hotel location works really well"

"Relatively fast, password-protected wi-fi, quality breakfast with multiple choices, relatively large room, possibility to check in during the night. Downsides were the lack of a regular desk in the room or no kettle. The property is located a bit further from the city centre and the stuffed animals are not environmentally friendly and might be disturbing for some. During one of the nights, there was some sort of a celebration in the restaurant downstairs with loud singing and noise until late in the night--this was quite uncomfortable. Overall, still a very good choice and value though."

Hotel Sophia by Tartuhotels

"We had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Sophia. Unfortunately we only spent one night there. I could have stayed for a couple of days. Our room was extremely spacious and so was the bathroom. The hotel seems to be quite new and it is even connected to the big shopping center next door. The hotel staff was polite and helpful, both the lady at the reception as well as the staff in the breakfast room. There's also free parking."
