"Initial thought was a bit worrisome bc the hotel was on the edge of the lake. Worried I couldn’t find parking, no sidewalks, worried we could not get to town. However, staff was so kind and gave us maps, directions, and step by step directions on how to navigate around town. Actually quite easy! Love the view of the lake from our balcony, breakfast was amazing, room so clean and everything felt so safe. Thank you to the staff for your service! "

"Great stay, the hotel and Rita, the host and all the staff are amazing! Fantastic views, a bit different from your regular hotels but that is a plus! Has a hot tub and pool as well as included breakfast (which is really good and it’s great to not have to worry about breakfast). It’s a bit outside of Varenna, it’s up in the hills, so you will need a Taxi every time to get back up to the hotel, there was a free night bus that took us to the hotel, but I believe it’s only running until October 2025. Going down to Varenna, you do need a Taxi or if you have a bike or rented car, be careful with the curves and the other Italian drivers lol. You can also do a walk down that takes about 20-25 minutes, but it is very rocky path down. Overall, great stay and room and would recommend."

"Wonderful stay! We received a warm welcome and lots of great recommendations for the area. Breakfast was delicious and we had an overall great time. Highly recommend! If you’re driving a car, the entryway to the property is pretty small, but if it doesn’t quite fit, you can certainly park in a lot just a few more meters away."
