"We loved the view, overlooking the lake and watching the moon and sun rise each day. It's the best part about renting a cabin at the state park instead of a hotel in town.
However, there are no "amenities" which are usually helpful in a hotel stay. Last time we stayed here our cabin had a kitchen. We expected the same this time, but there was no kitchen-Not even a small refrigerator or microwave as hotel rooms usually have. There was a coffee pot, but no filters. The bathroom shower included a space for shampoo and conditioner, but none was provided. The cabin includes a closet, but only one wire hanger. The TV is tiny. The screen door slams shut when exciting the front door. An extra blanket for the cool nights would have been appreciated.
Will we stay here again for next year's homecoming? Maybe, but I'll come better prepared knowing now that nothing is provided except a bed and great view."
