"Have you ever been to a wildly under-resourced elementary school where the staff was doing their very best with what they've got? That's sort of the vibe here. Tucked away behind a Casey's General Store and next to a U-Haul lot, on an industrial corridor with nary a blade of grass in sight. Walls were thin, the TV off-line, coffee was weak, the breakfast not really worth the time.
That said, the manager appeared to stay at her post from sun-up to sundown, was cheerful and efficient. My room was perfectly clean, the bed was clean, firm and comfortable, the shower worked and the water pressure was fine. There was a tiny microwave (which I didn't use) and a small fridge (which I did). The heat/AC was quiet and efficient. The price was quite reasonable."
