"everything was horrible. especially our last day. Only nice thing was the pool and breakfast. Everything else was god awful. We have advised the hotel to reimburse our last night due to the maltreatment from their staff."

"In such high altitude, with the vanishing winter and melting snow, there are really a lot to explore in oberhof. The stay at the hotel was excellent and authentic. The breakfast has many variations everyday, the fruits and vegetables were really very fresh. The staffs were well behaved and have showed good hospitality. The wellness and spa amenities were top notch."

"I was quite pleased with my stay here. It was perfect and economical for my purposes. The staff person was quite nice and helpful, and while the front is not open all the time, it's easy to get in and out. It isn't a town that is open all hours, so don't expect to eat late at night, but it's definitely charming and the hotel was a part of that!"

"Anfahrt und Lage: In der Nacht über sehr enge gefährliche Strasse. weit weg von anderen Orten, eher Alpiner Ort. Hotel: Renoviert in einem Dorf mit null Infrastruktur. Essen gut, aber der Wirt interessiert sich nicht für Behinderte, welche rechte ich mit Assistenzhunden habe, es kommt zu Schimpfereien beim Abschied. Das muss nicht sein. Die Gepäckhilfe trotz Nachtanreise war gut. keine Rollstuhlfähigen Zimmer gemäss EU Norm."

"Se nota que la pensión fue renovada recientemente y las habitaciones tienen todo lo necesario y son súper limpias. El desayuno es muy rico y la atención de los dueños es muy destacable, son muy amables y te orientan en caso de que tengas cualquier duda o si pides alguna recomendación. "Totally over priced for the quality received. Paying over 300 eur a night for a “holiday apartment”, one expects more. At minimum better beds than two separate ones for parents + sofa bed for the kids. The parent’s bed had some weird hospital like rubber cover under the linen, making a very uncomfortable sleep. Interior finish and furniture very low cost. Sound insulation bad, we could hear all the noises from the other rooms. Shower’s water pressure low or even non-existing if somebody...

"Great for walking or bike riders. Easy drive to dozens of historic towns in Thüringen for daily trips. Impressive staff all around. 5 star service received. Great food, all top level. Worth a revisit."
