"The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive."

"Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. "Stayed for a three nights at this cottage, it was lovely! Right in the countryside, surrounded by amazing views and only a short 10min drive to Alton Towers. Perfect for a family of three with everything you need for a short or long stay. Great location! Will definitely stay again! 😆👏 "
