Le Maitai Rangiroa
8/10 Good
"I think what makes this place one that you look forward to coming back to is the staff, friendly, helpful, and passionate about their job. Currently under renovation, but you hardly notice it if you are active throughout the day."

Tetamanu Village & Sauvage
10/10 Excellent
"To get to this beautiful water based place, we have to give up luxuries.
The bed is fine, no A/C.
They could upgrade the unpowered shower with a bigger tube.
They are in the middle of no where, and I was grateful for what I had.
The dogs barking remote some management at midnight and you may benefit from earplugs- but the Pink Sands excursion and sharks are amazing.
Snorkeling in crystal clear water with fish that are still thriving is amazing.
Wine and beer and soft drinks available. Take some shelf stable snacks with you if you want.
Unique place. "

Le Coconut Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely stay overall - beautiful small property. Attentive host, comfortable beds- do bring mosquito repellent. Would definitely stay again.
Food was the only disappointment. The set menu the night we had it was a 4oz piece of fish, buttered carrots, a tiny (2 bite) appetizer and a dessert dish that we both found unpalatable. No bread, no choices. My husband left the table still hungry. I would not book the optional dinner again."

Aotera Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"We took our family of 4 and had a lovely time. The location is quiet, peaceful, and remote which we loved. We walked all around the property as much as we pleased and explored the beautiful scenery. The fishing was great and Captain was amazing. They even cooked the fish we caught and the chef was superb. It’s very easy to relax and unwind from the American hustle and bustle at Aotera. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful during the whole stay. It definitely was a week in paradise."

Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely location (beautiful views!) with amazing staff (shout out to Ghislaine!). It is a bit expensive and things like the bike and scooter rentals are add-ons as well, but this is what I'd expect in an isolated area like this. Do recommend!"

Ninamu Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Cute Tree house villa with gorgeous views of lagoon. Comfy bed. "

Pension Hotu
8/10 Good
"The "cabins" are very crude. They don't have AC and are very dated. Having said that, it cooled off nicely in the cabin. There are gaps below door and around windows.
If you are prepared for crude then it will be a good stay. You are right by the ocean and very quiet. There are bikes, kayaks and standing boards available for use. The meals were very good too.
It was a good experience. Just don't expect fancy at all. "

Rangiroa Tiputa Lodge B&B
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, comfortable accommodations, and a very friendly host made our stay just excellent. Thank you, Henry!"

Va'a i te Moana
8/10 Good
"A couple of nice bungalows near the ocean reef. Location to the main pier within bicycle distance for tours. Breakfast only option on site. General store nearby. A couple of lunch and dinner options nearby. Cynthia the hostess is energetic and accommodating. Fits the travel niche of the quiet retreat with WiFi. "
