"The hotel is affordable and for the price it met expectations. The rooms were clean, the staff was always very helpful. The breakfast was good. We gave no complaints at all. I recommend it for budget travelers."

"Room was comfortable and clean, quite spacious, very comfortable beds, great shower! Although the location is on a highly trafficked main road, the room was very quiet. Inn is an older property, quaint and cozy, recently renovated. Appreciated the mini fridge, lots of room for sandwiches, snacks, drinks and space to freeze ice packs for next day. Only disadvantage is check in is off site at another property in town. Although not that far away, parking can be difficult. Enjoyed my stay, will definitely be back!"

"Clean, neat. Loved the retro motel vibe. Perfect for a short visit or an overnight stay. Not much in the way of amenities, but places to eat and convenience stores within easy walking distance."

"It is a charming, historic hotel. Dinner in the tavern was delicious and service was very good. The only thing we didn't like was the mattress, which needs to be replaced as it has divits. Other than that, it's a cool place that is fun to explore. Wish we were here longer to try out the pool. We did enjoy getting a cocktail from the bar and sitting in rockers on the front porch, watching the traffic go by."

"In town for a wedding, but had such a wonderful stay here & in town that we’re already planning a return to this hidden gem! Wonderful hosts, Fabulous restaurant (!!!), lovely very comfy room (#2) where they paid attention to all the details- quilt, boutique toiletries, double suitcase stands,…- wish the breakfast had a protein or yogurt, but this doesn’t detract from the over all 5 stars- right in the heart of a quaint town across from movie theatre, another restaurant, coffee shop, bookstore, fab tea shop, 2 antique stores, diner- and 15 mins from train stop! And gorgeous countryside nearby. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"We did not stay on the main campus. We were placed in a separate building down the road that looked like old, remodeled apartment buildings. The beds were some of the worst we have ever experienced and the sheets were scratchy. 2 bath linens had remnants of toothpaste left from prior guests. The room and bathroom did appear clean but were dated. There was a complimentary carafe of sherry in the room but the carafe was not clean. Someone above us in another room came back around 2:30am and we could hear every footstep, conversation, and movement in the room upstairs. The doors would slam shut each time a person entered or exited their room for all of the rooms within the building. It was not a restful sleep at all. We were disappointed by our experience."
