"Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. The Owner was responsible and friendly. Always available if needed, day or night. I did not like the coffee in the room but, the owner is building a drive thru coffee shop out front of the motel and promised that the coffee will be superb. I look forward to my next stay there later in the Fall."

"It is an excellent place to spend time. The only reason I gave a good rating instead of excellent is the pool wasn't heated as stated. My 8 year old granddaughter got stayed in until her lips started turning purple. She sat by the hot tub until she got warm then we went back to the room and finished our girls night out."

"Easy check in, always love the suite rooms because it makes it feel like an apartment. My room clearly hadn't been cleaned very well. I like to unpack and use the drawers as if I was home. There were random pills in the night stand drawers, one on the floor by the same night stand. The other one, I had to pull out to plug in my Cpap machine into the wall and there was a candy bar on the floor. There were toe nail clippings on the floor near the foot of the bed and by the couch so clearly it hadn't been vacuumed well. Shower had what looked like dog hair on the outside, hair around the base of the toilet too. I flushed all the pills down the toilet. I didn't pick up the candy bar or the toe nail clippings. I stayed Fri to Tues-housekeeping is every 3rd day which on Sunday they did come around but I was still half asleep so I declined it. Monday I asked for housekeeping and was told they could just bring clean towels. They did take the dirty towels and bring clean ones. I purposely didn't make the bed to see if they would - they didn't. I took care of all the trash and made the bed while I was there because that's what I do. But to say if I needed housekeeping to just ask and then when I do, they don't give it to me doesn't make since. Breakfast was okay, I did like the option of having oatmilk as I am lactose intolerant and use it at home. It was quiet even though there was a kids baseball team there."

"The location is beautiful. The staff are very helpful and provided s’mores kits which we loved. Between the hot tub, the river path, and playing corn hole. This was the sweetest little retreat we found this summer. The only minor thing was the pool is in theory a heated pool but still felt pretty cold. But that’s also personal preference so wouldn’t say anything about it was bad. The pool area is so cute and well maintained."
