The Aurora Inn
10/10 Excellent
"What a cozy inn! We stayed four nights, and had a lovely experience. We ate at the onsite restaurant, which was excellent, swam in the luxurious pool daily, and got to know the friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are cute, clean, and quiet. Big plus: cotton sheets! None of that microfiber, thankfully. The neighborhood is just adorable, with town hall, churches, and antique stores as neighbors. It is such a vibe here. You really have to experience it to fully appreciate it, but I would 100% stay here again and again."

Comfort Suites Youngstown North
10/10 Excellent
"The biggest problem we had was the plastic seal broke on the microwave and was un-useable."

Quality Inn & Suites New Castle
8/10 Good
"The hotel staff are really nice and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. Just be aware that there is no elevator in this hotel. Even half of the downstairs rooms have a small flight of stairs you need to go up. If you have mobility issues, this might be a challenge. I had torn my meniscus a couple years ago, and even after surgery, it’s still gets some twinges. It didn’t feel great after lugging my suitcases up a flight of stairs. I actually stayed here two times the same week. I was there for one night for an event the next day, then came back a couple days later for a weekend event. The first night I was there, there were the loudest stompers and talkers above my head. I had to call the front desk twice (once at 11:00pm and once at 1:00am). The second time they physically went up to the room to tell them they had to quiet down, and I was FINALLY able to sleep. When I came back for the weekend, I opted for a second floor room despite the stairs just to avoid having another stomper above my head. It’s an older hotel, so the walls (and floors) just aren’t that soundproof. That said, it’s a nice hotel. If you’re traveling with a dog, they have a nice green space behind the hotel for them to go potty. Breakfast was good with good coffee. I enjoyed my stay here, all things considered."

Holiday Inn Youngstown South by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"Wallpaper torn in bathroom by toilet paper roll. Shower curtain was coming off the wall. Reading lights had wires sticking out with no light attached. Bathroom door was unsightly dirty"

Motel 6 Streetsboro, OH
2/10 Terrible
"It's a very bad place to stay. It's more of a dog hotel, very dirty! Bugs everywhere; in the hallway, in your room, dirty wash cloths and towels. But, it's cheap compared to other hotels. If you can, stay in your car!!!"

Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Youngstown / Girard Ohio

"There was no breakfast the pool looked like it was closed for years and the room was dirty and smelt like smoke"

DoubleTree by Hilton Youngstown Downtown
