Oceanview Inn At The Arch

"A nice place to stay (we've been a few times now), between the main thoroughfare and the beach. Things have improved over the years, although it appears there are some bits and pieces that are still in progress or need to be done (e.g., some paint chipping in the room). Third floor is best for views of the beach, but second floor isn't too bad either; ground floor is mostly the grassy knoll. Prices are very affordable. No breakfast (they had something years ago, but that's gone), but usually coffee and a snack in the lobby."

"The highlight of this hotel was the wine service from Ingrid, she was the best! Breakfast was good. Parking was not. There was a vacant lot across the street with vagrants everywhere that you were expected to park at. Nope! Instead we drove around and around until there was a decent place to park. The rooms look a lot bigger on the site than in person, our "king" room was a bed and a desk chair. The front desk staff don't greet you when you enter the hotel. The central location was nice."

"A solid choice for a quick stopover on the way to Astoria. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which is exactly what you want after a long drive. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The only downside is the morning breakfast, which is very limited in options—you will likely want to plan on grabbing coffee and a full meal somewhere else on the road. Overall, it is a perfectly clean, practical, and friendly place to crash for a single night before continuing your trip."

"We love all the activities in the resort. The heated indoor pool, biking, pickle ball, board games, dvd movies, board games. There is always something for the kids to do. The staff is very nice and helpful and you can especially see it when they are being asked a thousand questions by a young kid. This has become an annual tradition for our family."

"Rooms clean and nice, location is pretty under the bridge along the water, it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the cute part of downtown which is not bad if you like walking. Unfortunately walls are thin, my neighbor was scream crying for about an hour one night and the other neighbors were up yelling to each other on the porch around midnight the night before. I know there's not a lot the hotel can do about that but definitely not the best nights of sleep. Mini fridge and microwave came in handy and price was right in the off season."
