Block Island Beach House
10/10 Excellent
"Staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful"

Pleasant View Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We have been to the Pleasant View Inn in Westerly 3 times, now, and it never disappoints. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and the pool was warm and crystal clear. We had requested a bottle of champagne in our room the day of arrival to celebrate our 37th year anniversary and there it was chilling in the fridge with two glass champagne flutes as we asked. The free coffee in the lobby was delicious and a nice touch. We had an oceanview room (highly recommend) and had the glass door opened at night with the screen door in place so we could feel the cool breeze and hear the waves crashing against the shore. It was wonderful to sip our champagne or coffee on the 2 person balcony. Just beware that there is no elevator… so if you want the 3rd floor… know that you will have to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs. Otherwise, we highly recommend the Pleasant View in for a simple, beautiful spring, summer or fall escape. We will definitely be back… the Coleys"

The Shore House

"Nice 1-night stay. 🙂"

TownePlace Suites Providence North Kingstown
10/10 Excellent
"Nice and comfortable unit. Will be back."

Atlantic House
6/10 Okay
"The Atlantic House is in the perfect location with amazing views, which is why we chose to stay there. The hotel needs updating. It’s generally clean, bedspreads don’t match the old curtains still hanging, pleather couch and chair in room. The beds were comfortable though. Front desk doesn’t have any toiletries if you forget to bring anything. We stayed on the first floor and could hear everything that was happening above us. The little patio was great and we appreciated the views. We knew we wouldn’t be in the hotel much so it was ok for our 2 night stay."

Hamilton Village Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great job"

Winnapaug Inn
6/10 Okay
"The man at the front desk just handed me a key. He did not say anything about the breakfast, gym or dock on the salt pond. Another guest told us about the breakfast. It was the May long weekend and neither the pool or hot tub were open. Or maybe they were open but I couldn’t understand the man cleaning the pool! The pool is not heated and hot tub was cold. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a bar fridge and microwave but no coffee maker . The bathroom was dated with poor lighting but it was clean. The small balcony was nice. The breakfast lady is nice once you give her a chance. She comes off as gruff with bed head and a very heavy accent that can be taken as angry. Yet if you talk with her she is nice person. I would stay here again."

Aqua Blue Hotel
4/10 Poor
"The pool was closed under construction and there was water pouring from the ceiling in the bathroom. No housekeeping came."

Holiday Inn South Kingstown (Newport Area) by IHG
8/10 Good
"This was a perfectly fine hotel for a quick two-night stay in the area. It was conveniently located right next to a Dunkin' Donuts, making the morning coffee run super easy. The hotel itself was under renovations, so there was a lot of construction stuff around. That said, the hotel was amazingly quiet, so I was able to sleep soundly both nights. The attached restaurant is a solid option for a quick meal if you don't have time to drive out to Newport. I was very happy with my dinner there on one of the evenings. While it's by no means a 4 or 5-star hotel, this was a great option for me. Pretty clean and quite, and the staff was super friendly and helpful!"
