"This was my fourth time staying at the Sweet Cane Inn. We called it the home away from home. It's been five years since last stayed there, but nothing has really changed except the inn keeper. I travel there was horrible. It was so horrible that I forgot that checking in was at 3PM. Even though we were early the inn keeper, let us come in. I thought I chose the room on the second floor, but it was the third she gave us the last room on the second floor. She was saving grace. As always, they had their cookies and wine, which was wonderful. The breakfast today was awesome. We will stay there again the next time we're in Natchitoches Louisiana.. My only regrets was we did not get to see the owners which we used to when we were there and that they no longer have their restaurant because the food was awesome."
