"I went with my wife and four year old daughter. 6km small Road to the hotel is horrible. Need a high clearance vehicle. My honda fit nearly escaped any damages. Otherwise the stay was superb. Location is unique.rooms were great. Food was ok,slightly more expensive than similar class hotels,may be because of the location, wifi is terrible.my Dialog mobile had moderate level of signals,but no 3G. Any way,I actually staying unplugged.There is a nearby waterfall with clear water.its an unique...

"Close to bus stop on Hatton-Avissawella road. Faded glory, but very pleasant dining area, lobby and lawn overlooking river in which you can swim- but carefully as in the middle it flows fast. Non AC rooms are large with effective fan. Lots of whitewater rafting in area. You are in lowland so can be very warm."

"Far enough away from city life but still convenient for the airport this is a quiet location where all you will hear is the sounds of birds singing. Great value, good food and friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable. We will return for sure. "

"Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. "

"The lodge is located in a secluded area. It would be perfect for families or groups to use the entire property for themselves. As a solo traveler not so good unless you prefer solitude. Gamigi the steward who runs the property is very attentive and helpful. I had 2 good breakfast and a very good traditional Sri Lanka food for dinner. I enjoyed my brief stay. My room was very large with a large bathroom and air conditioning. It was very comfortable and quiet ;)"

"Stayed at Adventure Base Camp for a day of river rafting which was awesome. Great facility for the area. AC worked really well. Only issues are that the lower rooms in our building had some mold on the wall (but understandable due to the high humidity in the area) and the beds were a bit uncomfortable."
