"The Glengower was perfect for our two night stay in Aberystwyth. Our room on the third floor provided a good night's sleep and was a good size, with a good bathroom. One thing to note is that there is no lift, so if that is an issue for you, you would be advised to go for a lower floor. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options. The only thing was having to walk from their car park to the hotel which wasn’t very well signed but in all fairness was I could have read about this before checking in. Staff were amazing and so very friendly. They were happy to help and offer advice throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Cocktails great and overall a beautiful stay - if I could have stayed an extra night I would have done. Our room was up in the rafters and was superb. A twin bedded room with everything you needed. The beds and pillows were lush! The bathroom was fabulous but I didn’t get a chance to use the bath unfortunately! Amazing views of the valley from the hotel and right next door to devils bridge and water falls - stunning location. Thanks so much for the best stay last weekend."

"This is a quirky place just off the promenade ,there are no staff at reception but an envelope with all details and actual keys to your room and front door.We could see the sea from the bay window and had a shared bathroom ,there are rooms with en suite but fully booked for our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options,two cheerful girls cooking,no sign of the owners but it all worked smoothly ,also the eggs are from a local farm."
