"We had a great stay at Oasis, and loved Dhigurah! The hotel is small and calm, with a beautiful garden and simple but spotless rooms with excellent air conditioning. Plenty of selection for breakfast, and a nice restaurant for lunch and dinner too. It's really well located, you can walk to the beach on either side of the island in no time at all (couple of great beach bars very close) and they have free bicycles to use to head further down the island to the bikini beach and sand bank. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, and we also did a couple of excursions to see the mantas and whale sharks, both of which were amazing! Thank you for a fab stay 😊"
"This is a very efficiently run hotel with lovely staff. Everything from arranging our speedboats, transfers to and from the dock to housekeeping to checkout was perfectly organized. The bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed. "
"Our stay at Azul Retreat was wonderful. Mohamed and team were great at making sure everything was ok. We stayed in a sea view room with stunning views. Highly recommended. The hotel is in the quiet part of the island which was great. Although the balcony faces the street you still feel secluded like having your own piece of paradise. Breakfast was cooked from fresh every morning and it was plentiful. You have continental or Maldivian options. Both lovely. Mohamed arranged a shake shark tour for us and we were lucky enough to see a whale. Room was spacious , modern and clean. Dint forget to watch the sunset from local beach. All in all highly recommend "
"Extraordinary stay at beach hotel Dhigurah. From pick up to drop off it was by far one of the best places we have stayed at. Starting off with the staff/management. They went above and beyond to help you, probably some of the hardest workers we have seen during our travels. From dusk to dawn these people are working hard and always have a huge smile on their face and go out of their way to greet you at all hours of the day. They are so well organized from pick up at the airport, boat ride to the island, transfer to the hotel and during our stay it was hassle free. Isham (the manager) was there to greet us upon arrival at the hotel. He gave us information about the island and exchanged WhatsApp’s so if we had any questions during our stay he would help us (which we did and he always responded quickly!) he organized, along with his staff excursions for whale shark snorkeling (which we were lucky to see !) fishing (which they cooked our catch the next day) scuba diving and even our sea plane back to Male ("
"What a lovely guesthouse in Dhigurah. We spent 6 nights here and tbh we could stay here forever. Felt right at home from the start. Haseef and his crew were so friendly and Abel to organise trips and rides for us. I enjoyed the traditional Maldivian brekkie but only had it once because my wife don't eat eggs or tuna so we tended to have coffee and biscuits in the room.
The area is very safe, it's close to the local Mosque so you will hear the prayers daily but we didn't mind that as it's part of their culture and we found it quite grounding.
The guesthouse is in the village part so lots of locals living around you but everyone just goes on about their own business anyway. The room was always clean and although simple ie no TV, we didn't mind as spent more time either on the beach (2 mins walk right as you leave the guesthouse), on excursions or asleep.
Highly recommend this place and absolutely would love to come.back. Maldivians are extremely laid-back so don't expect lots of contact beforehand to arrange transfers, I have OCD and must of sent a dozen emails and text messages lol."
