Ramada by Wyndham North Platte & Sandhills Convention Ctr
6/10 Okay
"Although the Front Desk staff were absolutely trying their hardest, there were just a lot of issues at the property. It seems everyone checking in at the same time each were having their own problems with their stay. Having said that, I could tell that the Front Desk people were trying their absolute hardest to accommodate everyone’s needs! The pool and hot tub are under construction, so if that is something you’re looking for you would need to look elsewhere. We may give this property another chance only because the property manager & front desk employees seem to actually care about rectifying all issues."
"I know hotels often give the hotel.com users the not so nice rooms but this was bad. We cant cancel reservations since hotels.com so you are stuck. The place was OK clean....except for breakfast area. Maintenance not so great. And safety wise there were what looked like two separate homeless guys cutting through the parkinglot. I suspect one recently had a picnic there by the pile of beer cans and to go food containers in a more hidden spot. The thing that was bad though is they gave us a room with a broken mattress with several failed springs in one spot. Maybe a kid was jumping on a single spot? Its was awful. You sank to the bed frame in that spot. It was a literal hole. No way to avoid it with two people. You can see it....no way housekeeping did not notice when they made the bed.....and im sure im not the first person to complain. They wouldn't let us change rooms either. Judging by the parkinglot they were not full. I thought the place had ok customer rating but I suspect they loaded this site with favorable reviews. Impossible anyone would review this place with straight 5 stars."
"This is an older place, but it had its charm, breakfast was good, of course waffles and lots of fruit, hard boiled eggs, toast juice coffee and some tea.
The shower/bath tub could use some work.
But good price. All in all we were satisfied staying there."
"Our room was super clean and comfortable. Motel 6 allows pets to stay free, so we were surrounded by dogs that barked throughout the stay and made it difficult to sleep. Otherwise a super place to stay!"
