"My daughter had an allergic reaction to the hot chocolate that was served with half-and-half instead of whole milk. The half-and-half contained peanut extract, which my daughter is allergic to. Management at the restaurant was not helpful, nor was the front desk when I told them about my daughter's reaction to the hot chocolate. We didn't enjoy our stay. That mistake could have cost my daughter serious harm."

"The air conditioner in the room was not working correctly. It blew very little air, and it felt like the fan itself was not functioning properly. Around 11:30 PM, I contacted the front desk to report the issue. I was told I could switch to the room next door, but by that time my guest did not want to move rooms late at night. I was also skeptical that the neighboring room would have a properly functioning unit if this issue had not already been identified. The only other solution offered was a fan, which I did not feel was an acceptable fix for a hotel room that should already have working climate control. Unfortunately, I felt like very little effort was made to properly resolve the issue or improve the situation. To make matters worse, when we arrived for check-in, we were informed that parking was $19 per vehicle. Since both my guest and I had vehicles, we ended up paying nearly $40 just to park overnight. This was a significant and unexpected financial inconvenience on top of an already frustrating stay. Because the room never cooled properly, it was one of the worst nights of sleep I have ever had at a hotel. Honestly, I have stayed at budget hotels with much better air conditioning."
