Dittmer Holiday Rentals

"Well, right off the bat, the parking situation was a little bit confusing. My gps took me to a large empty parking lot in the back of the building. Since there were no cars parked there nor an entrance accessible from there, I pulled around the building. There was a small circle driveway off an intersection and some street parking. I kept going and found a parking garage. I got out and walked to the door and there was a sign saying no hotel access, use other door. I went to the second door, got out and there was another small note saying this entrance is closed please use the other door. Finally I found a third door that did access the hotel but only with a key card, so we had to walk up to the front of the hotel to check in and then go get our bags after. No problem. We get to our room.. lovely room, but unfortunately it hadn’t been cleaned. There was trash, the beds were unmade, dirty towels in the bathroom, obviously had not been cleaned at all. Went to front desk, they moved us to a downgraded room but wouldn’t give us any sort of discount or even apology. Okay. Whatever. The room we went to was fine, but no balcony. The shower head needed replacing, had a weird weak stream, was clogged. I had to twist it to get the water to shoot out of the middle holes, thankfully that worked ok. Breakfast was alright, the standard continental breakfast fare. Waffle irons, etc. Pool and hot tub area was crowded. Desk staff nice. Pictures were misleading on site imo. But not bad hotel. "

"This was a great spot to stay for my recent trip to the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful on check in, and the room was clean and comfortable. I had 2 dogs with me - the ground level floor made it easy to load in and out, take them outside for walks, etc. There's plenty of green space for them to use as well. Parking was right in front of my room and the parking lot was well lit. Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in need! "

"Bathtub would not drain, which is always gross."

"The hotel was nice enough and the staff was excellent! There were some issues that seemed out of their hands, so I am sure they were under a lot of stress. The issue while we were there was a towel shortage. There weren’t any towels in the pool ever and some rooms didn’t have towels. Every time someone asked they apologized but were waiting for them to be washed and/or dried. The hot tub was extremely hot, way hotter than it should be and the jets could be described as almost violent. There wasn’t a setting to lower the temp or the speed of the jets. "

"The breakfast was fresh in the air condition worked great.There was plenty of housekeeping on the property.So the hotel was very clean"

"The staff I experienced was overall phenomenal but the property condition was horrific. Everything was dirty and slapped together with little care for quality. The whole property outside was covered in trash and there’s a homeless camp in the back. People were sleeping in their car in the parking lot and sending their kids in to let them in the locked doors. It was a lot of money to spend on such a trashy place. The elevator not working was a major inconvenience especially since I’m disabled and they had no first floor options for me. You could also hear everything through the walls and from the people above you. The head board was just wood nailed to the wall, but just barely. Every time I moved it would slam against the wall and was super annoying. It kept waking me up every time and would make the dog bark. The tub was severely clogged as well. "

"Food was good, pool was clean, hot tub was warm. Our room was clean upon arrival, next morning cleaning staff was very kind at replacing needed towels, cups etc. Only thing that was missing was an extra blanket for the pull out couch, we had both fitted and top sheets but no blanket. Desk guy was kind enough to get up a cup of milk when our grandson was crying for milk as we had forgotten to bring extra with us. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!!"

"Rooms for large space was great. very nice and clean. Breakfast same as most hotels. The AC works great. "
