"Staff and room was lovely for a disabled lgbt person and chose this hotel as it was part of a trans theme trip to Carthage as flew to Tunis on Trans Avia . My inbound flight was 3 hours late with Tunis air and this hotel let me check in after midnight. Lovely room, great hotel in the middle of everything and a great breakfast served next door in the cafe . Friendly staff who could not do enough as an lgbt person with invisible disabilities "

"The hotel location was really perfect, in lahbib bourguiba street ,it reminds me some how about the french streets.near to so many historical monuments in the city . Staff are professional and helpful. Room is clean and teddy. Room service its ok (needs to be improved)."

"The rooms were so beautiful - we stayed in Bibi and it was divine, from the oval white plaster ceiling with Arabic calligraphy, to the en suite bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic with great variety and the staff was really nice. "

The staff sorted out my accommodation without requesting it. check-in was a breeze). The rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast spread, not a lot but good selection. "Hotel itself in a good location and all the amenities are nearby. Our room was on the 1st floor but Friday and Saturday on the ground floor they do live music and the sound was very loud which disturbed all of our sleep. Breakfast was good. All the staffs from reception to breakfast room including house keeping everyone was so nice and friendly. Room itself was good and clean. After one night sleep I had requested to change my mattress because it was so soggy and they changed it immediately. Train station is about 10/12 minutes walk away but Louage ( Local mini bus station) is 20/25 minutes walk away. Madina (Old Town) is about 20/25 minutes walk away from the hotel. Local people might know the short cut and it could take less time. "

"This property has a very accommodating host and it is exceptionally clean. Everyone working here is extremely helpful and kind. Dar Ben Gacem is beautiful, with rooftop views and amazing tile and architecture throughout. There are many areas to relax and enjoy the ambience. The breakfast has delicious food and an outstanding chef. If you need anything, they are always there to help. Another way they accommodate guest is by speaking English, Arabic and French. I highly recommend this establishment, we will most definitely return. "
