The service is more than perfect the stuff are very nice and cooperative
They have free drinks all the time as much as you want they have transportation anywhere anytime
The location is a little bit far from the down town but
The room a little bit small and simple
Hotel is within a solid walk of the airport, or you can pay 20USD for a taxi, or try to ‘contact hotel using info in booking confirmation’ for a shuttle....but your phone doesn’t work.
Pro: very clean, kitchenette for guests. Close to supermarket.
Con: horrible, festering neighborhood (very common in Dji), very basic breakfast.
The reception team were very friendly and offered us breakfast upon our arrival - we got there around 7 am. Our room was ready earlier than the 12 pm check in time, which was much appreciated. The hotel has a free car service, but you must give them around 30 minutes notice. We did this but after an hour and 15 minutes waiting, we ran out of time to use the car to go into Djibouti City. The rooms are basic and you need to ask for the air conditioning to be turned on, but a decent hotel for one night.
When we showed up to the property, they were fully booked even though we booked our room through Expedia already. They bought us to another hotel (same brand) but it was far away and we had booked Auberge Boulaos to be close to the airport. Expedia didn't do anything to help either - called them to help us rebook but they had to confirm everything with the holel & we were stuck waiting for over an hour. Such a waste of time. TERRIBLE place - don't book! You won't have a room.
The free airport shuttle is very useful when arriving in Djibouti. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is very good in fact (croissant, pain au chocolat and pain au raisan, with some bread, jam and an egg). Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available for free whenever you want it. We did however face the issue when checking out that we had paid online in advance but they didn't accept that and wanted to be paid in cash. We argued that we should have to pay twice but they wouldn't let us leave unless we paid again and they promised to issue a refund for the online payment. All of this nearly made us miss our flight but luckily we got away in time and they did end up refunding us after paying a second time - beware, they will not accept any USD dated prior to 2006 (it doesn't just apply to the $100 notes).
Staff works really hard to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast should be upgraded but it is plentiful with pastries, a hard boiled egg, juice and tea/coffee. More food choices would be appreciated. There is no elevator, but the bags are carried to your room. Airport shuttle is on time and helpful. For the cost, it is certainly worth it.
The staff is excellent and always smiling and ready to provide guests with maximum information and assistance. Transport is freely available to take guests anywhere they need to go. However, the location - an untarred and dusty road- and difficulty to get some food (though there is the menu of a nearby restaurant) remains a negative point. At least the Auberge should have provided with a dispenser that sells soft drinks and some basic food.
The people in the hotel were really nice and friendly - with a free airport shuttle and even dropping us off into town centre, they were very happy to help in any way. The hotel is very clean and tidy but the room was slightly cramped (had to move the bed to get access to the cupboard for example). Bathroom door was also a sliding door that didn't slide much/very well.

thank you for your remarks we will try to improve the negative points
