Liked that the hotel kept with an historic theme, seeing as it is right on historic route 66. Enjoyed the park and lake right next door. Decent breakfast options.

This was located right by the highway and just across the parking lot was a Mexican restaurant called El Zarape that we just walked to and food was very good, The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is an older building and older furnishings but good for an overnight stay.

None of all the hotels I stayed in, on this trip, none offered room service. They didn’t even had breakfast. The question of room service doesn’t apply for this category of hotels.

It's an old-style, park-in-front-of-the-door motel, but the sign outside says it's been newly remodeled, and it shows. Everything is fresh and clean, with all the usual modern amenities for those who are computer reliant. The wifi connection was good. Everything was new except the dressers, and they were clean. Continental breakfast was adequate.

Room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, and bugs were crawling out of the walls to die. Like they just fumigated before I checked in.

Strong smell of chemicals when entering the room. You need an eye mask here. Heavy lightning surrounds property and no blackout blinds or curtains in room

The room smelt horrible like someone had smoked in there and they tried to cover it up. I also saw 2 cockroaches in our room. The free breakfast was little Debbie snack cakes and bananas.

PROs: The check in was very nice and quick. The night clerk was pleasant. The air conditioning worked great. Even the far side of the room was cool. The water was for a shower stayed hot for both showers. The bed was fairly comfortable but if one of us turned or moved it would wake the other one up. A fly swatter was in the room. The area was quiet CONs: Leftover food in the microwave from a previous patron. The bedspread appeared dirty and in need of replacement. The room had an abundant supply of flies.

Unexpectedly great stay.

We had a fantastic one night stay while travelling. Such a pleasant welcome to a nicely appointed and updated room. There's still work to do, but when travelling though, we will absolutely book this motel again.

Nice, clean, and well lit outside rooms. There is a unique situation with birds. Not interfering with room or cars, but be prepared. Building next door triggers noise in attempt to counteract the number of birds that roost overnight. All in all I would stay there again.
