"I definitely recommend this hotel. The owner was so kind to upgrade me to a room that had a larger bathroom and the scenery. There is absolutely beautiful.

"This was a memorable stay for my family. Love the many fun options for children (farm animals, indoor and outdoor pools, chess, checkers, bikes, movies, etc.). Highly recommend as a convenient, quiet place for couples and families!"
"My expectations were low. It’s like going to a movie you think will be a stinker and it actually turns out to be good. This place was so much fun. It’s near 200-years old and you can tell in a few places. The floors are horribly out of level. They are like a rolling hill and from max to min, I would guess 18inches. But when you realize you are staying in a hotel that four Presidents including Grant slept in, those crazy floors just make it real. It was clean, comfortable. The staff was very friendly, especially the person who checked us in. I came back to the desk and she was helping some people who appeared to have used a scam site to book and they were happy, because she was putting in effort to help them. So, set your expectations low, just so you can be pleasantly surprised."
"Outside may look dingy but service is great and room is very clean. Right near the highway. Behind is a clean local supermarket like Whole Foods. Would certainly recommend the stay."
"We had a wonderful stay. Exceedingly pleasant staff. Superb food which was absolutely outstanding in a very lovely historic inn. The setting was beautiful with white Mountain views and beautiful flowers. We loved our stay!"
"Wonderful and quick at the check in. Very friendly and clean, breakfast was amazing. Perfect place to stay for a quick trip up to the White Mountains."
